Pricing. This is the most common reason by far. When a home is priced above what the market will bear, buyers scroll past it. The longer it sits, the more stigmatized it becomes. By the time the price drops, buyers wonder what's wrong with it.

Presentation. Photos that don't do the home justice, rooms that weren't staged, or online listings that didn't tell a compelling story. First impressions on real estate portals happen in seconds.
